VENUE
University West has the honor to invite researchers, doctoral students, industry and financiers to the 11th Swedish Production Symposium. The conference will mainly take place at campus of University West located in the center of Trollhättan, a few minutes walking distance from the central train station. Some parts of the conference programme will be held at Production Technology Centre at the Innovatum District, which is approximately 1 kilometer from campus.

Trollhättan is situated in the south western part of Sweden 40 minutes north of Gothenburg. The town is beautifully located near the Göta River. Trollhättan has a rich history of industry and innovation and is today home to many large, medium and small manufacturing companies.
Getting to Trollhättan
Arrival by car
The University is located in the center of Trollhättan, next to Drottningtorget, and on the opposite side of the town hall and a large water tower that is easy to see. You turn off from Highway 45 at the roundabout where signs show towards the center. School parking accessed from the City Hall roundabout right into Gustava Melin street and is signposted.
Visitor parking
If you're a visitor, check in at Servicecenter to get a parking permit which is valid in combination with payment by parking meter or app.
Arrival by train or bus
Trains and buses run regularly to Trollhättan from Gothenburg. The trip to the town is approximately 35 minutes by train. Buses complete the trip in approximately 90 minutes. The central bus station in Gothenburg (Nils Ericson Terminal) is located next to the train station (Central Station). Gothenburg also has intercity rail links with Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo.
Arrival by air
Landvetter Airport
The airport has daily flights to and from most major European cities. There is a convenient airport bus service that connects Landvetter to the Central Station in Gothenburg. Buses run 2-4 times an hour.
Trollhättan Vänersborg Airport
The airport has frequent services to Bromma airport (Stockholm)

The conference will include lunch and dinners. In addition, a number of restaurants and pubs are available in the town center.
How to get to Production Technology Center (PTC) in Trollhättan
Some parts of the conference programme will be held at Production Technology Centre on Innovatum District, which is approximately 1 kilometer from campus.
If you come here by car, there are usually parking spaces in front of the PTC building. There is also disabled-friendly parking here.
If you prefer to walk from campus to PTC, it takes about 15 minutes.
